Case study
----------

1. ### The challenge

The Islamic Culture Center in Katowice needed one reliable digital home for a diverse community that reads Polish, English, and Arabic. The site had to present time-sensitive religious information, such as daily prayer times, Iqamah times, and Jumu'ah details, clearly on any device. It also had to let the center publish articles, khutbahs, and announcements without fragmenting its communication.
2. ### The approach

I built a multilingual platform with full Polish, English, and Arabic content, including right-to-left layout support so Arabic reads naturally. I organized the information around daily needs. Dynamic prayer and Iqamah times, the Jumu'ah schedule, and Islamic calendar dates sit up front. Supporting sections cover articles, an audio khutbah archive, Quran access, Qibla direction, news, and contact details. I used a responsive, SEO-friendly structure so the content stays accessible on mobile and easy to find through search.
3. ### The outcome

The center now has a single, organized platform for sharing prayer schedules, publishing Islamic educational content, and announcing community updates. Polish, English, and Arabic speakers can all reach it in their own language.

Developed a multilingual website for the Islamic Culture Center in Katowice, designed to serve the Muslim community with prayer times, Islamic articles, khutbah archives, Quran access, Qibla direction, and community updates. The website supports Polish, English, and Arabic content, making it accessible to a wider community while providing a clear and responsive interface for daily religious information and Islamic educational content. The platform includes dynamic prayer time display, Jumu’ah prayer details, news and announcements, article publishing, audio khutbah content, Islamic calendar dates, and contact information. The system was built to help the center manage community communication, publish Islamic content, share important updates, and provide essential mosque-related information through one organized digital platform. Key features include prayer times, Iqamah times, Jumu’ah schedule, Islamic articles, khutbah archive, audio content, Quran section, Qibla direction, multilingual support, Arabic RTL support, community announcements, responsive design, and SEO-friendly structure.

Challenge The main challenge was organizing more than a decade of engineering experience, hundreds of technical articles, numerous production projects, certificates, and open-source contributions without overwhelming visitors. The previous portfolio format also needed to evolve from a simple personal profile into a professional platform capable of serving different audiences, including potential clients, recruiters, companies, and developers. The redesign needed to remain visually minimal while still providing enough technical depth to demonstrate architecture, backend expertise, real production experience, and the decisions behind each project.

Approach I redesigned the website around a content-first architecture with clear separation between professional positioning, projects, technical writing, certificates, and contact paths. The homepage focuses on quickly communicating my role, experience, engineering focus, and selected work without requiring visitors to explore multiple pages before understanding what I do. Projects were rebuilt as structured case studies with categories, technologies, project status, technical challenges, implementation approach, outcomes, and dedicated project imagery. The article section was designed as an engineering library rather than a traditional blog. Articles are organized through topics, searchable content, featured articles, and technology-focused hubs so hundreds of posts remain easy to discover. The interface uses a restrained visual system with strong typography, generous spacing, reusable components, and minimal decoration to keep attention on the engineering work. SEO, semantic markup, accessibility, responsive behavior, structured metadata, performance, and lead-generation paths were considered throughout the redesign.

Outcome Delivered a cleaner and more focused professional platform that presents my engineering work through projects, architecture decisions, technical writing, and open-source contributions instead of relying on a traditional résumé-style portfolio. The new structure gives clients, recruiters, engineering teams, and developers clear paths to explore relevant work, understand my technical experience, discover articles, and contact me.

Challenge The main challenge was combining an emotional, editorial author experience with a practical e-commerce flow without making the website feel like a traditional online store. The platform also needed to work for more than the author's first book, support multiple languages, present long-form editorial content, maintain a strong personal brand, and provide a clear path from discovering the author to purchasing a book.

Approach I designed the website around two connected experiences: storytelling and commerce. The public experience uses an editorial structure with strong typography, author imagery, book storytelling, journal content, and carefully placed calls to action. Books are structured as reusable content entities rather than hardcoded sections, allowing future publications to be added without redesigning the website. Each book can have its own presentation, editions, pricing, media, description, and purchasing experience. The ordering flow was kept intentionally simple, allowing readers to select an edition and quantity before proceeding through a secure checkout process. The content architecture also supports bilingual pages, journal articles, newsletters, legal pages, FAQs, and future author events. SEO, semantic page structure, accessibility, responsive behavior, and content discoverability were considered throughout the implementation so the website can serve both readers and search engines effectively.

Outcome Delivered a complete digital presence that combines author branding, editorial storytelling, book discovery, and direct sales in one cohesive platform. The website gives the author full ownership of her relationship with readers while providing a scalable foundation for future books, journal content, newsletters, events, and new releases.

Suprivale Ao Vivo — Live Camera Streaming & Discovery Platform

×

Role Lead Backend Engineer & Solution Architect

Challenge Designing a platform that serves both public viewers and paying camera partners while maintaining strict data isolation and permissions between visitors, users, partners, and administrators. The system also needed to combine public live streaming, geographic camera discovery, package-based feature limits, advertisement management, subscription approval, payment processing, and partner dashboards without making the underlying business logic difficult to extend.

Approach I designed the platform around clearly separated user roles and domain boundaries. Public camera streams remain accessible without authentication, while registered users gain personal features such as saved cameras. Partners operate inside an isolated dashboard where all camera, advertisement, subscription, and statistics queries are scoped to their own account. Subscription capabilities are controlled through packages instead of partner-specific hardcoded limits, allowing camera limits, advertisement limits, and additional features to evolve independently. The subscription workflow was implemented as an explicit state-driven process: request submission, admin review, approval, payment, and activation. Asaas was integrated for subscription payments using webhook-driven confirmation and idempotent processing so subscriptions are activated only after verified payment events. OpenStreetMap and Leaflet power geographical camera discovery, while Laravel authorization policies and permissions enforce access rules on the backend rather than relying on UI visibility alone. The administration layer centralizes management of cameras, categories, partners, subscriptions, payments, advertisements, users, content, permissions, and platform activity.

Outcome Delivered a centralized platform where visitors can freely discover and watch live cameras, registered users can save favorites, partners can manage cameras, advertisements and subscriptions, and administrators can control the complete platform from a single dashboard.
